COMPLETE RESULTSEWING, N.J. – The Swarthmore College women's track and field team participated in the Lion Invite, hosted by The College of New Jersey, on Saturday, Apr. 25.
Sophomore
Lulu Allen-Waller highlighted the meet with her second-place performance in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles. She crossed the finish line in 1:04.59, just two seconds behind first place winner Katelyn Ary from TCNJ. Allen-Waller also placed eighth in the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 15.38 seconds.
Junior
Jenna Cody completed the 5,000-meter run in 18:51.42, earning herself a fourth-place finish. Sophomore
Indy Reid-Shaw placed 11th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.08, while freshman
Irina Bukharin ran a 4:52.84 in the 1,500-meters to place 12th.
On the field, sophomore
Maggie O'Neil launched the shot-put 36-feet, 1-inch to earn ninth place. She also competed in the discus throw and finished 15th with a mark of 101 feet.
Swarthmore will next compete at the Centennial Conference Championships at Muhlenberg from May 1-3 and look to improve upon last year's third-place finish.
