EWING, N.J. and PHILADELPHIA – The Swarthmore College women's track & field team competed at The College of New Jersey's Rick McCorkle Invitational on Friday. In addition,
Lydia Morris-Kliment represented the squad at the prestigious Penn Relays.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Gabby Bredbenner recorded a pair of top-12 performances at TCNJ, taking fifth (59.55) in the 400 meters and 12
th (26.51) in the 200 meters.

Janalise Jimenez crossed the line fifth in the 5000 meters with a personal-best time of 20:15.10. The Garnet had two runners in the top-16 of the 800 meters with
Rica Eleches-Lipsitz and
EmmaKate Derrick placing 14
th (2:25.25) and 16
th (2:26.63) respectively. Both ran a career best.

Indira Brou came in 15
th place in the 100 meters with a personal-record time of 13.70 seconds.
Caroline Hill also was 15
th (17.03) in the 100 meter hurdles.
- Morris-Kliment was selected to compete in the discus at the Penn Relays for the third consecutive year. The junior was the only Division III athlete in the field and she came in 19
th place (42.67m).
