KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Swarthmore College women's soccer team was ranked No. 13 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's Preseason Poll, announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Swarthmore capped an outstanding 2025 campaign ranked No. 13 nationally after finishing the season with a 15-3-5 record and advancing to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The Garnet earned the top seed in a highly competitive Centennial Conference, posting an unbeaten 9-0-1 conference record.
The Garnet return each of their top-five point scorers from last season, led by All-American forward
Ava Gizzie, who recorded a team-high 24 points on 11 goals and two assists.
Celia Kanellakos also surpassed the 20-point mark, while
Charlotte Carleton and
Nicole Jensen each finished the season with double-digit point totals.
Aminah Evans holds down the Garnet defense after opening her career with consecutive All-Region nods. The rising junior led an outstanding defense last season, which held opponents to just 0.65 goals per game with 13 shutouts.
Swarthmore begins its 2026 season with three-straight home games. The team opens with Skidmore College on September 4, before welcoming in King's College (Pa.) and then Rowan University to close its homestand.
