LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's Elizabeth Page and Tate Garcia were chosen the Centennial Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week respectively on Tuesday by the conference office.
 
Page registered a strong showing in the 800 meters at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, racing to the 18^th-fastest time on the Division III national list. Page finished third in the race with a time of 2:18.13.
 
Garcia secured a pair of top-20 national marks in Swarthmore's season-opening event at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. The senior took second in the shot put with a mark of 12.93 meters, which ranks seventh on the national list. She also took ninth in the discus at 39.33 meters, which currently ranks 18^th in Division III.
 
The Garnet travel to Widener University this weekend for the Danny Curran Invitational.
