SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Leor Kedar earned a pair of national weekly honors for the period ending March 15. He was chosen the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division III National Hitter of the Week and also to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.
Founded in 1962, the NCBWA is dedicated to the advancement of college baseball. Membership is open to writers, broadcasters, and publicists of the sport. The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fifteenth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's athletic communications office. Kedar was selected to the fifth Team of the Week of the 2026 season.
Kedar batted .750 (15-for-20) with a 2.442 OPS over four games, all wins for the Garnet. He totaled four doubles, one triple, four homers, three walks, four stolen bases, 12 RBIs, and 12 runs. He tallied at least one extra-base hit and scored at least once in all four contests. In a win versus SUNY Cobleskill, he blasted a Centennial Conference-record four home runs and hit 5-for-6 with five RBIs and five runs in the contest. Kedar was named the Centennial Player of the Week for the second straight week.
Swarthmore is back in action on Tuesday when it hosts Rutgers-Camden.
