DeLaney and Teszler Garner USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS – The Swarthmore College men's outdoor track & field team had two athletes receive All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Colin DeLaney earned recognition in the 3000 meter steeplechase while Theo Teszler was named All-Region in the 400 meters. The top five individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams.

DeLaney picked up his third consecutive honor in the steeplechase after posting the region's top time (9:20.40) at Princeton University's Sam Howell Invitational. He was the top non-Division I finisher in the event, taking 10th overall.

Teszler recorded the fourth-best time in the region in the 400, clocking in at 48.31 at the Centennial Championships. He took second place for All-Centennial Second Team distinction.
