CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. – After holding a share of the lead through round one, the Swarthmore College men's golf team slid back to sixth place after two rounds of play on Saturday at the Camp Lejeune Marine Intercollegiate.
The Garnet compiled a team score of 303 for the second round and have a two-day total of 590. Swarthmore sits 11 strokes behind the leader, Sandhills Community College.
Andy Xin was the Garnet's top player on Saturday, scoring a 73 (+1).
Yuxuan Wang, who was tied for first after the opening round, remains Swarthmore's highest individual on the leaderboard as he is tied for seventh place.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wang tallied two birdies on his way to a 75 (+3) for the round. He has a two-day score of 143.
- Xin's total of 147 is tied for 26
th place with one round to go. The junior improved upon his first-round score by one stroke. He produced five birdies on Saturday, four of which came on the back nine.

Max Ash equaled his opening round score with a 76 (+4). He produced one birdie and is tied for 65
th place with a 152.

Dylan Zhang totaled four birdies on the day but otherwise struggled to a 79 (+7). He is tied for 77
th on the leaderboard (154).

Judah Fulchiero was unable to repeat his opening-round success, finishing with an 88 (+16) on Saturday. He is tied for 97
th place (158).
