WAYNESBORO, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's golf team placed fourth overall at the Centennial Conference Championships, finishing the tournament at 42-over par on Sunday.

Dylan Zhang led the Garnet with a fourth-place individual finish, earning All-Centennial honors for the third consecutive year. The junior joins rare company, becoming just the second golfer in program history to earn three All-Centennial selections - matching a feat previously achieved only by Paul Weston '12.

Zhang shot a one-over 217 for the tournament, matching his personal best over 54 holes. He finished five strokes behind Patrick Kilcoyne, who captured the championship for Gettysburg College. 


HOW IT HAPPENED
- Zhang recorded five birdies and five bogeys in the final round of the championships, finishing even for the day. The junior made an impressive start on the back nine, carding birdies on four of the first five holes, but lost two strokes on the 17th and 18th holes. He ended the tournament at one-over par, finishing six strokes ahead of his nearest competitor.

- Max Ash finished 15th overall at 14-over par, dropping out of the top 10 after shooting 11-over in the final round.

- Andy Xin finished 16th at 15-over par. The junior started strong, shooting two-under on the front nine with three birdies, but gave back 10 strokes to close out the round.

- Yuxuan Wang moved up two spots on the leaderboard, tying with Xin for 16th at 15-over par. The sophomore shot a five-over 77 in the final round, including three birdies.

- Judah Fulchiero placed 23rd overall at 22-over par, finishing with an 11-over 83 in the final round to close out the tournament.
