CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team opened the weekend at the Widener University Paul Donahue Invite on Friday night. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lydia Morris-Kliment finished as the runner-up in the discus throw, recording a top mark of 42.61m. The sophomore improved on her conference-leading mark with a season-best throw. She ranks 35th in the country in the event.  

- Lee Bickford qualified for the finals in the shot put, placing seventh overall. The senior recorded a top mark of 11.70 on their opening throw. 

- Hannah Swale made the finals in the triple jump, finishing seventh with a distance of 10.90m on her final attempt. 

- Téa Malone-Bonacci was 19th in the 5000m run with a time of 18:33.53. The sophomore cut seven seconds off her previous best to set a new personal record.
