Women’s Duo Competes at Ursinus Awakening

LIMERICK, Pa. – Ava Chon and Bori Chung represented the Swarthmore College golf team at the Ursinus Spring Awakening on Thursday.

Chon, last fall's tournament winner, led the Garnet duo with a top-five finish, placing fourth overall. The sophomore carded an 83 to finish 11-over-par, highlighted by a birdie on the par-three third hole. She shot three-over on the front nine.

Making her Swarthmore debut, Chung tied for 11th with a score of 95, finishing just outside the top 10 in a three-way tie.
