MOORPARK, Calif. – The Swarthmore College men's golf team concluded play at the CLU Kingsmen Invitational on Tuesday. The two-day tourney was contested at the par-72 Moorpark Country Club.
The Garnet tied for 13
th in the team standings with a total score of 627, including a 322 for the second round. Swarthmore competed against an elite field in which six of the top eight finishers are ranked in the top 31 of Division III.
Yuxuan Wang was the top finisher on the leaderboard for the Garnet, tying for 32
nd place with a two-day score of 154 (+10).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wang started his round with three consecutive pars before finding his stride with three birdies in a row on 16, 17, and 18. However, he recorded just one more birdie over his last 12 holes and finished with a score of 78 (+6).

Max Ash tied for 47
th place with a 158 (+14). He posted one birdie on Tuesday and carded an 80 (+8).
Neil Zhu was one stroke behind Ash at 159 (+15) and tied for 50
th. Zhu, playing as an individual, shot an 81 (+9) in the final round.

Dylan Zhang and
Andy Xin were both tied for 56
th place with a two-day score of 160 (+16). After shooting a 73 on Monday, Zhang tallied four birdies for the round but had two crucial hiccups on two and three, losing 14 strokes across the two holes and finishing with an 87 (+15). Xin also produced four birdies on the day and carded an 81 (+9).

Judah Fulchiero tied for 59
th place with a total of 161 (+17). The rookie posted one birdie on the way to a final round of 83 (+11).
Chad Kemmerer competed as an individual and tied for 75
th place (170, +26). He closed the tournament with an 86 (+14).
