HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Swarthmore College women's track & field team won five events at the Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford College on Saturday.
Alyson Goldbacher led the group of winners, breaking the school record in the pole vault for the third time this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Goldbacher took first place with a height of 10' 4" (3.15m), surpassing her previous best of 10' (3.05m). She cleared the mark on her first attempt. Goldbacher led a one-two finish for the Garnet as
Sophia Springer was the runner-up (8' 6.25", 2.60m).

Ania Wong and
Elizabeth Page took the top two spots in the 800 meters, running times of 2:19.25 and 2:19.98 respectively. Both were personal records.

Tate Garcia was the victor in the shot put, recording a career-best throw of 44' 3.25" (13.49m).
Lee Bickford and
Jordyn Bernard followed in fifth (35' 8.75", 10.89m) and seventh (33' 6.75", 10.23m) respectively. Bickford also had a sixth place (42' 7", 12.99m) in the weight throw.

Aaliyah Anaskevich set a new personal record and finished first (5:39.61) in the mile.
Morgan McErlean was seventh (5:50.64) in the event, also running a career best.
- Tea Malone-Bonacci crossed the line first (11:07.99) in the 3000 meters and
Eli Dellinger came in eighth place (12:41.91) with a personal record.
Morgan Mouer and
Lucy Valencia had solid finishes in the 400 meters, placing fifth (1:05.23) and sixth (1:05.98) respectively. Valencia's time was a personal best.
