WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's golf team posted its best round of the season on Sunday and finished in 14
th place at the D-III Northeast Elite. The two-day tournament was held at the par-71 Williamsport Country Club.
The Garnet improved upon their opening round score by four strokes, recording a 297 in the final round. Their 36-hole total of 598 is tied for fifth-best in program history.
Yuxuan Wang was Swarthmore's top individual, tying for 16
th place on the leaderboard with a 144 (+2). His 36-hole score is tied for fifth-best in the program record book.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wang shot a 73 (+2) on Sunday. He tallied three birdies on the day, including two on the first three holes.
Andy Xin also carded a 73 for the final round to finish in a tie for 25
th overall (146, +4). Xin picked up three birdies as well.

Max Ash registered a pair of birdies on the way to a 75. His two-round total of 152 was tied for 64
th among individuals.

Judah Fulchiero and
Chad Kemmerer both tied for 86
th on the leaderboard, shooting a total of 157. Fulchiero shot a 76 on Sunday while Kemmerer produced a 77. Kemmerer had the highlight of the day for the Garnet, sinking an eagle on the par-5 sixth. He also recorded two birdies.
