WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Swarthmore College men's golf team concluded play at the Williams Invitational on Sunday, finishing in 12
th place at Taconic Golf Club.
The Garnet improved upon their opening round score by four strokes, shooting a 305, to finish the tournament with a total of 614.
Max Ash led Swarthmore in the final round, posting a one-over-par 72. He also was the Garnet's top individual for the tournament, tying for eighth on the leaderboard.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ash was steady on the front nine, sinking a birdie to go with eight pars and sitting at one-under at the turn. Ash found the back nine more difficult, battling through two bogeys and a double bogey. However, he also holed two more birdies to finish the round one-over. Ash had a two-day total of 149.

Judah Fulchiero repeated his first-round performance with a 75 (+4) and finished in a tie for 14
th place overall (150). He produced three birdies in the final round.

Andy Xin and
Yuxuan Wang both carded a 79 (+8) on Sunday and placed tied for 54
th (157) and tied for 60
th (158) respectively. Both posted a pair of birdies on the day.

Chad Kemmerer concluded the tournament with an 81 (+10). He sat in 84
th place on the leaderboard with a two-day score of 168. Kemmerer added a pair of birdies to his ledger on Sunday.
