ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Swarthmore College women's track & field team opened competition at the Centennial Conference Championships on Friday at Muhlenberg College.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After four events,
Hannah Swale leads the heptathlon with 2557 points as she looks to improve upon her third-place finish from last year. Swale led all athletes in the 100 meter hurdles (15.88) and shot put (32' 11.75", 10.05m). She also posted a personal best in the 200 meters (27.60).

Caroline Hill is also competing in the heptathlon and she is in seventh place with 1822 points. She recorded personal records in the 100 meter hurdles (18.25) and 200 meters (29.63).

Elizabeth Agyei and
Lee Bickford competed in the hammer throw and placed ninth (125' 1", 38.14m) and 11
th (122' 6", 37.35m) respectively. Bickford's toss was a personal best.

Sophia Springer came in 11
th in the pole vault, clearing a height of 8' 3.25" (2.52m).
