COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Trelstad T claimed the victory in the high jump to lead the Swarthmore College women's track & field team on the opening day of the Ursinus College Festival on Friday.
It was Trelstad's first win of the season in the event. They posted a top height of 5' 1" (1.55m) for the triumph. Trelstad's success was one of four top-10 finishes for the Garnet on day one of the meet.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trelstad recorded their winning leap on their second attempt at the height.
Caroline Hill had a solid showing in the high jump as well, placing sixth (4' 7", 1.40m). Hill also took ninth in the long jump with a career-best distance of 14' 8" (4.47m).

Olivia Montini completed the 1500 meters in 4:59.78, which was good for fourth place.
- After four events in the heptathlon,
Hannah Swale sits in first place with 2465 points. She had the top mark in the high jump (4' 9.75", 1.47m) and shot put (35' 1", 10.69m).
Sarah Sonntag is currently in fourth with 1625 points.
