EWING, N.J. – The Swarthmore College women's track & field team traveled to The College of New Jersey for the Lions Invitational on Saturday.
Lydia Morris-Kliment won the discus with a career-best toss of 141' 9" (43.20m) to lead the Garnet. It was her third win in the event this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Morris-Kliment recorded her winning throw on her third attempt. She bested the second-place competitor by nearly five feet.

Trelstad T took fourth place in the high jump with a height of 4' 11.75" (1.52m).
Sophia Springer also had a top-10 finish, taking sixth in the pole vault (8' 10.25", 2.70m).

Alyssa Zhang recorded a distance of 33' 3.25" (10.14m) for 11
th place in the triple jump.
Olivia Montini completed the 800 meters in 2:24.51 for 15
th place.
- In the 200 meters,
Miranda Kashynski and
Cami Bortz placed 19
th (27.63) and 23
rd (28.10) respectively. It was a personal best for Bortz.
MORRIS-KLIMENT AT PENN RELAYS
- On Friday, Morris-Kliment competed in the discus throw at the prestigious Penn Relays. She came in 14
th with a throw of 140' 3" (42.76m).
