Women’s Track & Field Opens Paul Donahue Invite

CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team returned to Widener University to open action at the Paul Donahue Invite.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lydia Morris-Kliment set a new personal record in the discus throw with a top distance of 42.92m. Tate Garcia also achieved a personal record at 39.94m. The pair placed third and fourth, respectively. Megan Bickford made it a trio of Swarthmore personal bests with a top effort of 28.41m.

- Garcia also earned a fourth place finish in the shot put at 11.97m. Swale was 12th with a 10.75m effort, while Amelia Landry finished 21st with a personal best of 9.88m.

- Hannah Swale was seventh in the triple jump with a top mark of 10.76m. The sophomore was marked just short of a personal best.

- Téa Malone-Bonacci set a personal record in the event with a time of 18:40.14 to finish 17 seconds faster than her previous-best mark at the Danny Curran Invitational. Charisma Hasan also competed in the event with a time of 20:26.34 as she narrowly missed a personal best.
