MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team traveled south to open its outdoor season at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational on Thursday night. 

The Garnet were represented in the javelin throw and heptathlon as they opened the three-day event in Myrtle Beach. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trelstad T placed 10th overall in the javelin throw with a top distance of 30.88m. The junior achieved the mark on their first throw. Amelia Landry also competed in the event with a personal best of 24.07m. 

- Hannah Swale currently sits in eighth place with 2,444 points in the heptathlon. She placed second overall in the shot put with a top throw of 10.66m, while earning seventh in the 100m hurdles with a 16.16 finish. Caroline Hill also sits in 12th overall in the event.
