Women's Track & Field Earn Second at Keogh Invitational

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team placed second overall at the Keogh Invitational on Saturday.

Lydia Morris-Kliment highlighted the event with the team's lone first-place finish in the long jump. The Garnet posted several personal records at the meet as they prepare for next week's Centennial Conference Championships. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Morris-Kliment won the long jump with a personal record of 5.15m. Alyssa Zhang also earned a top-five finish with a 4.86m effort to place fourth. 

- Miranda Kashynski raced to a personal record with a time of 27.69 in the 200m run. The senior took second overall in the event, while Kiara Pedra placed fifth with a time of 29.15. Cami Bortz also finished with a personal best at 29.29 to place seventh. 

- Morgan Mouer was third in the 800m run at 2:31.08. Lucy Valencia also placed inside the top-10 with a personal record of 2:35.08 to finish eighth. 

- Olivia Montini finished third in the mile with a time of 5:28.89, while Téa Malone-Bonacci earned a top-10 finish with a personal record of 5:48.28.

- Charisma Hasan and Iliana Gonzalez placed fourth and fifth in the 3000m run. Hasan finished with a time of 11:57.22, while Gonzalez followed at 12:15.58. 

- Evie Parts and Eli Dellinger both competed in their first collegiate 5000m runs. Parts took second with a time of 21:16.44, while Dellinger finished at 22:27.23.

- Sophie Goodwin was third in the triple jump with a 10.40m mark. Zhang also placed fourth in the event with a 9.97m jump. 

- Sophia Springer grabbed third in the pole vault with a top mark of 2.75m. 

- Sarah Sonntag finished fifth in the 60m hurdles with a personal record of 11.15. She also placed eighth in the high jump with a personal best of 1.27m. 

- Amelia Landry finished fifth in the shot put with a personal record of 9.35m.
