Women’s Track & Field Competes at Middlesex Invitational

EDISON, NJ - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team returned to action at the Middlesex College Invitational on Saturday. The Garnet placed sixth overall out of 16 teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tate Garcia took second overall in the discus throw with a personal record of 37.86m.

- Johanna Schubert earned points with a sixth place finish in the 1500m run as she finished at 5:07.14. The time marked a new program record for the senior.

- Sophia Springer finished third in the pole vault with a top height of 3.05m.

- Kiara Abbey was 10th in the 400m dash with a 1:03.88 effort.

UP NEXT
The Garnet return to action next week at the Widener Invite.
