SWARTHMORE, PA. - Taking on two meets on the same day, the Swarthmore women's track & field team were represented at both Princeton University's Larry Ellis Invitational, as well as Bucknell University's Bison Outdoor Classic on Friday, Apr. 14.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Taking on day one of the Bison Outdoor Classic, first year
Hannah Swale competed for the Garnet in the heptathlon, completing four of the seven events. Swale finished eighth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.21 seconds, fourth in the high jump at a mark of 1.51m, 11th in the shot put at 8.93m and 10th in the 200m, crossing the finish line at 27.92 seconds. Overall, the New Jersey native ends the day in sixth place with 2,418 points, set to take part in the long jump, javelin throw and 800m tomorrow.

Rose Teszler represented Swarthmore well in the 800m. Teszler finished fifth in her heat with a time of 2:12.80, a mark good enough for 29th overall in the event, and is the ninth fastest time in all of DIII outdoor T&F so far this season.

The Garnet will compete in day two of the the Bison Outdoor Classic, as well as in the Middlesex College Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 15.
