CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team battled through wet and rainy conditions as they wrapped up a successful weekend at the Danny Curran Invitational on Saturday.
Rose Teszler finished first overall in the 400m dash to highlight the final day, while Krystle Boadi grabbed a pair of top-five finishes in the 60m and 200m dashes. Teszler's time ranks 10th in the nation, while Boadi is 47th in the 200m dash.
The Garnet are also nationally-ranked in the 4x400m relay. The team of Boadi,

Gabby Johnson and Teszler rank 14th in the nation with a time of 4:01.57.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Teszler grabbed a first place finish in the 400m run with a time of 58.26. Kiara Abbey also looked strong in the event with a 1:02.63 effort to take 18th overall.
- Boadi took second overall in the 100m dash with a top mark of 12.73. Garrou followed in the event with a time of 13.23 to place 14th overall. Boadi also competed in the 200m dash with a time of 25.77 to grab fourth place. Garrou earned another top-20 finish in the event with a 27.26 mark.
- Trelstad took sixth overall in the high jump with a top height of 1.51m after clearing it on the final attempt.
- Sophia Springer tied for fourth in the pole vault with a top mark of 2.80m. Springer cleared the first three heights on her first attempt.

Jillian Provaznik placed sixth in the javelin with a top throw of 33.92m. She was third overall in her flight.
- Quinn Basewitz and Morgan Mouer finished seventh and eighth in the 800m run. Basewitz crossed the finish line at 2:21.47, while Mouer finished narrowly behind the senior with a 2:21.63 effort.
- Alina Irvine ran a sub-five-minute mark to place eighth overall in the 1500m run with a time of 4:49.28.
- Elizabeth Agyei took eighth in the hammer throw with a top distance of 38.44m. Tate Garcia also took 20th overall with a 31.02m mark.
- Hannah Swale placed 11th overall in the 100m hurdles. The first-year crossed the finish line at 16.45. Swale also put together a 10th place finish in the long jump at 4.87m, while Alyssa Zhang was 15th with a top distance of 4.72m.
