BIRMINGHAM, Al - Competing at the 2023 NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships, the Swarthmore women's indoor track & field team saw an excellent performance out of senior Rose Teszler.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Competing in the prelims of the 800m, Teszler ran 2:11.55, a personal best and a time fast enough to finish second in her heat. The Massachusetts native just barely missed out on winning her qualifier, trailing behind the first place finisher by just 0.51 seconds.

- Teszler's finish was the fifth fastest out of twenty runners, qualifying her for tomorrow's 800m final. 

UP NEXT
Having earned a spot in the finals, Teszler will compete in the 800m at day two of the NCAA Championships, joined by fellow Garnet senior Adria Retter who is beginning her tournament run in the shot put on Saturday, Mar. 11.
