WILMINGTON, Del.—Swarthmore College Men's Golf hosted the Frederick W. Anton III Memorial Invitational on Sunday. Swarthmore's top team finished in fourth of 16 teams with a 305 and its second team sported a 331 for 13th place.
Michael Brown posted Swarthmore's top score and finished tied for fourth overall with a 72 (+1) on the 6,405-yard course at Rock Manor Golf Club. Ankur Malik and Leonard Park carded 76s. Freshman Zack Zawisny recorded an 81. Adam Agustin shot an 88.
Swarthmore's second squad had each finisher in the 80s. Zack Rackauckas posted an 80 and fellow first-year Gyan Bains carded an 81. Arjun Madan's 84 was third for Swarthmore B and Kevin Zheng scored an 86. Henry Lei shot an 89 , Joshua Vandervelde shot an 80, and Max Katz-Balmes shot an 81.
The Garnet compete at the Dominion Club on Sunday.
