MOOSIC, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Golf carded a 618 (+50) over Sunday and Monday's Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational to take third place. Centennial Conference foe McDaniel College won the tournament on the par-71, 6,308-yard course with a score of 591 (+23).

The Garnet sat in fourth place after the first day with a 314 and then trimmed 10 strokes off their score in the second round.

Junior Dan Altieri tied for second overall with a 147 (+5), shooting a 73 on Sunday and a 74 on Monday. He finished two strokes away from the top spot.

Vamsi Damera tied for sixth after posting a 150 (+8). Nick DiMaio recorded a 159 (+17) for a tie for 20th.

Freshmen Ankur Malik and Michael Brown rounded out Swarthmore's totals with a 164 (+22) and a 168 (+26), respectively.

Swarthmore now makes the final preparations for the Centennial Conference Championship this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Brookside Country Club.
