DOWNINGTOWN, Pa.—In a split-squad weekend for the Garnet, Swarthmore College Men's Golf played in a two-day tournament at Downingtown Country Club. The Garnet shot a 691 (+115) on the par-72, 6,642-yard course and finished in 13th.
The Garnet trimmed 11 strokes from their score from Saturday to Sunday.
Chris Zhang carded a 164 (+20) to pace the Garnet. Zhang shot a 79 in round two and an 85 in round two. Hunter Hughes shot an 84 on Saturday and an 82 on Sunday, finishing 22-over. Drew Langan posted a 175 (+31), and Max Katz-Balmes rounded out the scores with a 177 (+33).
Swarthmore Men's Golf has another squad competing at the Hershey Cup on Sunday and Monday.
