GALLOWAY, N.J.—Swarthmore Women's track team ran at the Osprey Open at Stockton University on Saturday. The Garnet's top performance came from junior
Kate Hannah who won the 1,500-meters with a time of 5:04.44.
The Garnet's
Kenzie Himelein-Wachowiak placed second in the 800-meters with a time of 2:28.29.
Irina Bukharin added a top-10 finish in the race, coming in sixth with a 2:31.98 mark.
Lea Slauch and
Kayla Camacho finished in fifth in their respective races. Slauch completed the 100-meters in 13.44 and Camacho ran the 400-meters in 1:04.36.
Swarthmore's 4x400-meter relay team of
Lulu Allen-Waller,
Kayla Camacho,
Simran Khanna and
Lea Slauch finished in third in 53.25.
Swarthmore runs at Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Note: The Garnet also sent two runners to Princeton on Friday night.
Katie Jo McMenamin ran to a school-record 17:02.96 time in the 5,000-meters. That time is the fastest time in the Centennial Conference by nearly 25 seconds, and is also the third-fastest time in Division III.
Indy Reid-Shaw ran to the school's fourth-best time, 17:34.97.
