COMPLETE RESULTSBALTIMORE, Md. - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team competed at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational hosted by Johns Hopkins this past weekend and returned home with four wins in individual events.
Sophomore
Lulu Allen-Waller headlined the event and won both the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles with times of 15.82 seconds and 1:03.76, respectively. Her time in the 400-meter hurdles ranks second on program's the all-time list behind Kenyetta Givens' record of 1:02.72.
Junior
Sarah Nielsen also came home with a win in the 1,500-meter run, crossing the finish line in 4:43.52. and narrowly defeating second-place runner Ashley Murphy from Johns Hopkins who finished just .19 seconds later. Senior
Osazenoriuwa Ebose earned herself a first-place finish in the shot put by recording a throw of 42-feet 9.50-inches.
The team will next travel to Chester, Pa. on Friday, Apr. 17 to compete at the Widener Invitational.
