WALLINGFORD, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's golf team placed third behind Rutgers-Camden and Philadelphia University in its first tri-match of the season on Wednesday, Apr. 1 at the Springhaven Country Club.
Swarthmore, which only fielded four players, was led by
Andrew Park. The senior captain fired a 79 to place third overall and just one stroke behind individual winners Pete Mahah and Nick Nguyen of Philadelphia University. Junior captain
Andrew Pak carded an 82, while senior
Miles Schuck finished with an 87. Sophomore
Drew Langan rounded out the team score of 342 by shooting a 94 on the par 70, 6,518-yard course.
Swarthmore will next compete at the Hershey Cup on Apr. 5-6.
