COMPLETE RESULTSABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Swarthmore College golf team battled through cold and windy conditions on March 28 and 29 to finish tied for seventh out of eighteen teams at the McDaniel Spring Invitational held at The Bridges Golf Club.
Senior
Andrew Park led the way, carding a 79 and 78 to finish tied for eighth. He was followed by sophomore
Michael Chen, who posted a combined two-day score of 160, and
Yousaf Razvi's mark of 161. The team was rounded out by sophomore
Drew Langan and Junior
Andrew Pak registering combined two-day scores of 170 and 171, respectively.
St. John Fisher won the team event, finishing with a two-day total of 623 and sliding past F&M by one stroke. Jack Whelan of St. Lawrence won the individual medal on the par 72, 6,713-yard track with a combined two-day score of 4 over 148.
Amanda Beebe competed in the women's event and carded scores of 104 and 110 to finish 21st overall.Â
The Garnet will be back in action on Wednesday, Apr. 1 when they host a tri-match against Rutgers-Camden and Philadelphia University.Â
