COMPLETE RESULTSCHESTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore women's track and field team competed at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener over the weekend.
Senior
Osazenoriuwa Ebose headlined the meet by winning the discus throw and shot put. Ebose recorded a mark of 123-feet, 0-inches in the discus and posted a mark of 39-5 in the shot put.
Sophomore
Lulu Allen-Waller won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.78. She also placed second in the 100-meter high hurdles in 15.67 seconds.
Senior
Chastity Hopkins, who previously lettered with the Swarthmore volleyball and basketball programs, placed third in the triple jump by leaping 32-7.50 She also tied for fifth in high jump for clearing the bar at 4-7.75.
On the track, sophomore
Indy Reid-Shaw completed the 1,500-meter run in seventh place with a time of 4:56.58. Freshman
Irina Bukharin crossed the finish line in the 5,000-meter run in 18:48.87 and finished in eighth place.
Julia Nee also finished in eighth place in the 400 meter-dash with a time of 1:04.65.
The team will travel to Princeton, N.J. on Friday, April 3 to compete at the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton.
