COMPLETE RESULTSBOSTON, Mass. – The Swarthmore College women's track & field team competed in the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Friday, Feb. 13 at the BU Track & Tennis Center. All three student-athletes in attendance registered an ECAC qualifying mark.
Senior
Osazenoriuwa Ebose placed sixth overall and first among NCAA Division III athletes in the shot put to lead the way for the Garnet. She recorded a toss that sailed 42-feet, 2.75-inches.
Junior
Sarah Nielsen and sophomore
Indy Reid-Shaw also had impressive performances on the track. Nielsen registered one of the nation's top marks in the mile by navigating the track in 5:00.65, while Reid-Shaw was 79th in the 3,000-meter run by hitting the tape in 10:28.88.
Swarthmore will next make the short trek to Haverford for the Keogh Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 21 for its final tuneup before the Centennial Conference Championships.
