ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa.--After ending day one with a 310, Swarthmore College Men's Golf shot a 305 on day two to finish even with Gettysburg in 7th place of 15 teams.
On day one, Swarthmore's
Dan Altieri, Nick DiMaio, Drew Langan and Michael Chen were all within a stroke of each other, shooting 76, 77, 78 and 79, respectively. Altieri followed up day one by carding a par 72 on the 6,713-yard course at Bridges Golf Club. He shot five birdies on day two and tied for seventh overall.
DiMaio trimmed two strokes off his score to finish with a two-day total of 152 and a tie for 19th. Michael Chen carded a 159, Drew Langan a 160 and Vamsi Dameria a 162.Allegheny College won the tournament with a 591 (+15).
Swarthmore's next competition is at Patriots Glen on Oct. 11.
