FULL RESULTSHERSHEY, Pa. - The Swarthmore College golf team finished in ninth place out of 15 schools after a second-round score of 326 at the Hershey Cup on Monday, Apr. 7 at the Hershey Country Club. The Garnet posted a two-day total of 640.
Freshman
Michael Chen and senior
Jeff Wall each shot 80 to lead the team on day two. Senior
Price Ferchill and junior
Andrew Park posted identical marks of 83 and senior
Sam White fired an 86 in the second round. Chen and Ferchill led the team with two-day totals of 159, which was good enough for a share of 28th place in the individual standings on the par-71, 7,061-yard course.
Centennial Conference foe McDaniel College won the tournament by ten strokes over St. John Fisher College with a team total of 606.
The Garnet next compete at the Glenmaura National Tournament in Moosic, Pa. on Apr. 13-14.
