RESULTSPHILADELPHIA - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team competed in the shot put and 4x400-meter relay events at the Penn Relays opening day on Thursday, April 24. The results yielded a program record and a top-10 program time for the Garnet.
It only took one meet for junior
Osazenoriuwa Ebose to break her personal and program record in the shot put event. In the Eastern section, Ebose placed ninth overall - second among Division III student-athletes - with her 13.39 meter (43' 11.25") toss.
In the 4x400m Centennial/MAC section, Swarthmore ran a season-best by six seconds to place second overall in a group of 12 teams. Sophomores

Sarah Nielsen (1:02.12) and junior
Julia Nee (58.76) ran a finishing time of 4:01.01 which is fourth all-time in the program top-10 list.
The Garnet men will compete in two relays on Friday, April 25 at the Penn Relays.
