WOMEN'S RESULTS
ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's golf team battled a wet, rainy afternoon at the Bridges Golf Club to shoot a team score of 328 and finished the first round of the McDaniel Spring Invitational in a tie for eighth place out of 18 teams. The second day of action was cancelled due to unplayable course conditions.
Senior
Jeff Wall, who shot an 81 and is in a tie for 24th place, led the Garnet. Rounds of 82 from senior
Price Ferchill and junior
Andrew Park and a round of 83 by freshman
Michael Chen rounded out the team score. Senior
Kyle Knapp is also competing and shot an 85 in the first round.
Junior
Amanda Beebe is also representing Swarthmore in the women's division. Competing as an individual, Beebe teed off early and shot a 100. She sits in a tie for 19th place.
The Garnet are slated to host a quad match at the Rolling Green Golf Course in Springfield against Widener, Neumann and Philadelphia University on Monday, March 31 at 1:15 p.m.
