KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Swarthmore College women's soccer team returned to the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll on Tuesday, sitting at No. 21.
The Garnet climbed back into the poll after a 2-0 week, defeating Lancaster Bible College on the road, 5-0, and taking down then-No. 17 Johns Hopkins University, 1-0.
Charlotte Carleton and
Ava Gizzie have sparked the Swarthmore offense with four goals apiece.
Celia Kanellakos has also been a key contributor with two goals and three assists.
Stella Saad leads the team with four assists.
Sofie Aird is 4-0-1 in the net with 25 saves and a .962 save percentage. She ranks 10
th in Division III in save percentage and 27
th in goals against average (.286). Aird was named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week earlier today.
The Garnet head to Bryn Mawr College for a conference match on Wednesday.
