NORMAN, Okla. – The Swarthmore College men's golf team had two student-athletes named 2025–26 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-America Scholars on Monday.
Dylan Zhang earned his third consecutive All-America Scholar honor, while
Phelps Wang received the recognition for the second straight year.
Swarthmore produced an All-America Scholar for the eighth-consecutive year with the squad boasting multiple selections for the seventh time. To be eligible for Division III All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior, both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50-percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher.
Zhang wraps up his collegiate career as one of the top golfers in program history. The three-time All-Region selection broke the program's season (72.90) and career (74.12) scoring average records. He played 21 rounds this season, while leading the team in nine of those rounds.
Wang shot a 76.1 average this season in 18 rounds played. The junior shot par or better in five rounds, while leading the team in seven rounds. Wang carded the team's best finish at the Centennial Conference Championships, finishing seventh overall.
261 NCAA Division III athletes from 95 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors. Calvin had the most recipients from one school in NCAA Division III with six.
