LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Swarthmore College softball team earned 12 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete selections, announced on Thursday afternoon.
 
Ava Babcock, Avery McClure, Elisabeth O'Connor, Emilee Espinoza, Eva Szap, Iris Barone, Lane Barron, Lilly Goldberg, Lucia Sanchez, Rae Barron, Regan Valenzuela and Serafina Tinio all received recognition from the NFCA by achieving a 3.5 or better grade-point average during the academic year.
 
Earlier this summer, the defending Centennial Conference Champions had three individuals – Barone, Goldberg and McClure – garner PhillySIDA Academic All-Area selections. Goldberg headlined the trio with the Performer of the Year award.
