LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Swarthmore College's
Lilly Goldberg was recognized as one of the nation's best once again, being selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Second Team on Wednesday afternoon.
Goldberg earned her second straight All-America nod after garnering third team recognition in 2025. With the honor, the sophomore became the first player in program history to be named an All-American in multiple seasons. Goldberg is just the third multi-time All-American in Centennial Conference history.
The Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Year, Goldberg posted a 20-4 record with a 1.37 ERA, becoming the first pitcher in Swarthmore history to record 20 wins in a season. She hurled 18 complete games with five shutouts. The sophomore walked just 34 batters and struck out 104 in 158.2 innings while opponents hit just .208 against her. She ranked eighth in Division III in ERA, 15
th in WHIP, 18
th in wins, 24
th in hits allowed per seven innings, 31
st in shutouts and complete games, and 32
nd in innings pitched.
Goldberg helped lead the Garnet to a 35-10 record, setting a new program mark for victories. Swarthmore captured its second consecutive Centennial Conference title with Goldberg earning Tournament MVP accolades. The Garnet hosted a NCAA Regional Tournament for the first time.
