HAVERFORD - The Swarthmore College men's track & field team rallied for a strong showing at the Haverford Keogh Invitational on Friday night. The team competed in its final meet before the start of next weekend's Centennial Championships. 

Rishi Tella headlined the evening with a pair of second place finishes, while Kenneth Relovsky and Isaac Chu also earned runner-up finishes. The Garnet combined for six top-three finishes as a team. 


HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tella had a busy evening for the Garnet, grabbing runner-up finishes in the triple jump (12.73) and long jump (6.63m). He also finished eighth overall in the 60m dash. His triple jump mark was a new personal record. 

- Relovsky and Charlie Schuetz were second and third in the mile. Relovsky finished at 4:21.47, while Schuetz trailed closely behind at 4:22.84, setting a new personal record. 

- Chu placed second overall in the 800m run, posting a personal record of 1:58.18. Owen Lord also secured a top-10 finish in the event, crossing at tenth with a 2:03.69 mark. 

- The men's 4x200m relay of Theo Teszler, Jayden Figueroa, Jean Michel Irankunda and Ryan Scott took second place at 3:33.93. The Garnet also competed in the 4x400m relay with Chu, Relovsky, Schuetz and Theo McGarvey grabbing fifth place at 3:44.81. 

- Aidan Corpus was sixth overall in the pole vault with a top height of 3.75m. He was followed by Jackson Mejia at 3.60m. 

- Irankunda finished ninth in the 400m run at 55.89, achieving a new personal best. Figueroa trailed behind in tenth with a personal record of 55.89. 

- Ethan Rapoport was tenth in the shot put with a top throw of 11.29m. The senior recorded a personal best in the event.
