GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's track & field team continued competition on day two of the Centennial Conference Championships at Gettysburg College.
Rishi Tella narrowly missed out on a medal in the long jump, finishing in fourth place.

James Saunders, and
Kenneth Relovsky all qualified for Sunday finals in their respective events.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tella recorded a distance of 6.51 meters for fourth place in the long jump. He achieved the mark on his third attempt and fell just an inch shy of All-Centennial status.
Archer Manning placed sixth (6.46m) in the event.
- Teszler came in fourth in the prelims of the 400 meters with a time of 49.20 to qualify for the final. He was just 0.15 seconds behind the top qualifier from Dickinson.
- Saunders qualified for the final in the 110 meter hurdles, posting the sixth-best time (15.90) in the prelims.
- Relovsky snagged the final spot in the 800 meters final, placing eighth in the prelims with a personal-best time of 1:53.91.

Lucas McGarvey recorded a career-best time of 10:13.69 and took sixth in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
Alan Nichols finished ninth (1.73m) in the high jump and 12
th (22.77) in the 200 meters. His height in the high jump was a season best.
- The 4x800 meter relay of
Charlie Schuetz,
Noah Stapleton,
Logan Rose, and
Alex Thompson came in sixth place with a time of 8:02.53.
