LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Cami Wilson was named the Centennial Conference Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office. It was his second award of the season.
Wilson won two individual events and was a member of three first-place relays in a thrilling 1060.5-154.5 victory over Gettysburg. The senior enjoyed a pair of first-place finishes in the 50 freestyle (20.38) and the 100 butterfly (48.04). Wilson's mark in the 50 freestyle was a Ware Pool record and an NCAA B Cut, while he also contributed to pool records as a member of the 400 freestyle and 200 medley relays. As a member of the 200 medley relay, Wilson set a school record in the 50 back with a split of 22.21.
The Garnet compete in the Centennial Championships on February 19-22.
