INDIANAPOLIS - The Swarthmore College men's swimming team captured five All-American performances on the second day of the NCAA National Championships. 

Wilson captured two more All-American accolades, earning his third of the meet and seventh of his career. He captured first-team status with a third-place finish in the 100 butterfly and joined Danny Castle, Levi Tipton and Luke Magnuson for a second-team swim in the 200 freestyle relay. Castle and Tipton both earned their third career All-American honors, while Magnuson enjoyed the first of his career.  


HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wilson garnered first-team status in the 100 butterfly for the second-straight season. The senior recorded his highest individual NCAA finish, placing third overall with a time of 47.39. He improved five positions in the event after just inching out first-team status with an eighth-place performance at last year's national meet. He is the conference's first two-time All-American in the 100 butterfly and recorded the highest career finish. 

- The 200 freestyle relay of Wilson, Castle, Tipton and Magnuson secured second-team status with a 14th-place swim. The Garnet touched at 1:20.66 in the finals to earn their second-straight All-American honor in the event. 

- Castle placed 23rd overall in the 200 freestyle prelims. The senior swam a time of 1:38.85 during the morning session. 

UP NEXT
The Garnet return to action tomorrow for day three of four. The team will compete in the 200 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay.
