Men’s Swimming Claims All-American Status in 200 Medley Relay on Night Three

INDIANAPOLIS - The Swarthmore College men's swimming team claimed All-American status in the 200 medley relay to headline night three of the NCAA National Championships. 

Cami Wilson, Levi Tipton, Luke Magnuson and Danny Castle teamed up for another All-American second-team swim. The Garnet relay placed 12th overall in the 200 medley relay while setting a new program record. 


HOW IT HAPPENED
- The men's 200 medley relay of Wilson, Lipton, Magnuson and Castle captured second-team status with a 12th-place finish. The team raced to a time of 1:28.28 in the final after blowing away the program record with a 1:28.19 mark in the prelims. The quartet just narrowly missed out on first-team status after finishing ninth in the morning session. The Garnet earned their second all-time All-American swim in the event, and their highest finish in program history. 

UP NEXT
The Garnet return to action tomorrow for the final day of the NCAA Championships. The team will compete in the 100 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay.
