LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Swarthmore College men's lacrosse team will open up the season at No. 18 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Preseason Poll.
The Garnet spent 11 weeks in last season's national rankings, finishing the year with a 12-5 overall record and a 5-3 Centennial Conference mark.

Clay Almgren and
Drew Tyson. Almgren paced the Garnet attack with 79 points on 38 goals and 41 assists, while Tyson continued to solidify his reputation as one of the nation's elite netminders. Both earned USILA Preseason All-America honors, with Almgren named to the first team and Tyson selected to the second team.
The Garnet open its season against Widener University on February 14. The team's schedule currently features four nationally-ranked opponents.
