WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's golf team began play at the D-III Northeast Elite on Sunday. The Garnet sit in fifth place heading into the final round.
Swarthmore compiled a score of 297 at the par-71 Williamsport Country Club.
Frank Zhou,
Michael Yuen, and
Dylan Zhang all shot a 74 (+3) to lead the squad and are tied for 22
nd on the leaderboard.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Zhou opened with a strong front nine, shooting one-under with a birdie on the fourth. He ran into some difficulty on the back half but closed the round in style with an eagle on 18.
- Yuen also shot one-under on the front nine, recording three birdies along the way. He struggled in the middle of the back nine but joined Zhou in posting an eagle on 18 to end strong.
- Zhang registered an eagle as well with his coming on the par-four seventh. He sat at even-par at the turn and later finished the round with a birdie on the last.

Max Ash sits in a tie for 29
th place after scoring a 75 (+4). He tallied three birdies on the day. Playing as an individual,
Phelps Wang also shot a 75 to sit in a tie for 29
th. Wang posted a pair of birdies.

Judah Fulchiero rounded out the scoring players with a 76 (+5). He had one birdie and is tied for 40
th place.
Phillip Kim is tied for 45
th as an individual. He recorded two birdies and finished with a 77 (+6).
