LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Dahlia Bedward was chosen the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday.
Bedward made a career-high 11 saves in goal to help the 21
st-ranked Garnet defeat 24
th-ranked Johns Hopkins University on the road, 2-1. The senior helped Swarthmore escape with the win despite being outshot by a 22-5 count. It was the first double-digit save performance of Bedward's career.
The Garnet host Bryn Mawr College on Wednesday.
