MEDFORD, Mass. - The Swarthmore College men's and women's track & field teams sent three competitors to the Tufts National Qualifier on Saturday morning.
Trel Trelstad competed in the high jump, while
Kenneth Relovsky and
Elizabeth Page raced in the men's and women's mile, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Page set a personal record in the women's mile with a 5:01.02 mark. The first-year improved her previous best by three seconds as she claimed eighth overall in today's event. Page improved to 69th in the nation.
- Trelstad fell short of their season and lifetime best with a 1.59m mark in the high jump. The senior cleared the bar at 1.59m on their second attempt, but was unable to overcome 1.68m. Trelstad's lifetime best remains at 1.66m. They claimed third overall in today's event and remain tied for 25th in the nation.
- Relovsky placed 11th overall in the men's mile with a time of 4:18.72. The sophomore finished a couple seconds off his season best.

The Garnet will set their sights on the outdoor season as they head to Myrtle Beach over spring break.
